Monographs to be incorporated in the coming edition of Indian Pharmacopoeia

The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission is in the process of drafting the monographs approved by the Subject Expert Committee to be incorporated in the next edition of the IP. The stakeholders hereby requested to forward the draft monographs along with special features on standards which they deem appropriate for improving the quality of these drugs. IPC are making concerted efforts for timely publication of the next edition of I.P. 159 monographs (as reproduced below) which are at various stage of drafting. 18 monographs have already been drafted and put on the website (www.ipc.gov.in). The IPC intends to clear 15 monographs (draft) per week for comments. Members are requested to send their suggestions/comments at the earliest to IPC Secretariat by the end of June 2009 with a copy to IDMA Office (technical@idmaindia.com) for record.
