Sub: DCG(I) letter on Survey and Monitoring to ensure availability of critical Drugs for Management of situation arising due to COVID-19 – reg.

Dear Member,

Dr V G Somani, DCG(I) has sent letters dated 21 April 2020 (copy attached) to all SLAs and all associations for data on 57 medicines needed for COVID management and another 97 drugs that are essential items. The purpose is to survey and monitor availability of critical drugs for management of the situation arising due to COVID-19 and ensure production levels are same as were pre COVID.

SLAs have been requested to provide the information from manufacturers in the prescribed format.

Kindly provide the data as requested in the prescribed format to the concerned SLA in your State and also forward the same data to the DCG(I) office at dci@nic.in
